Nine Mile Forest Chase Recap

Tuesday, June 30, 2009

The rain barely held off for the running of the Nine Mile Forest Chase, as 60+ participants enjoyed a cool, cloudy and slightly damp romp on the trails. The rolling single track and forest roads proved to be a fast course, boasting strong finishes from many runners. Thank you to all who took part, and we look forward to seeing you in Eau Claire for the Firecracker Off-Road on July 5th.

Iola Trail Mix Recap

Wednesday, May 27, 2009

Running conditions were pleasantly cool for those who took on the challenge of the Iola Winter Recreation Area trails. Participants met with a variety of quad-burning challenges as they followed the scenic 10K and 5K courses through the ski jump vicinity. Several competitors were first-time trail runners who finished the race appearing ready for more! Thank you to all of the runners who came out to enjoy the trails, weather, and to support your fellow athletes. Also, thank you to TEVA and RunAway Shoes, in Oshkosh and Green Bay for their continued support of the WORS Trail Running Series.
