WORS Trail Run Closes Season with Evergreen Harrier Classic

Monday, November 9, 2009

Crisp autumn temps and clear skies greeted runners who came out to participate in the Evergreen Harrier Classic on October 11th in Sheboygan.  The colorful and fast trails made for a perfect conclusion to the WORS Trail Run Series.  Thank you to all of the new and familiar faces for spending the morning with us!

Congratulations to our series participants and winners!  We applaud your dedication and competitive spirit, and look forward to seeing you next season.

Check back in December for a finalized Trail Run schedule for 2010.  We are considering a couple of venue changes; if you have a venue (on the WORS bike circuit) that you would like us to look into, please send an e-mail.

We are also going to look at making a few changes to the structure and execution of the Trail Run Series, and would welcome any suggestions from our series runners!  Thank you to those who have already offered up some great ideas for next year.  We may be coming to you looking for additional input in the near future.

Finally, a special thank you to our series sponsor, TEVA for the numerous shoe gift certificates and a lot of great schwag that a multitude of runners were able to take advantage of.  Also, thank you to our event sponsor RUNAWAY SHOES of Oshkosh and Green Bay for gift certificates and other appreciated schwag items!  We hope to see them next year!!

Have a wonderful winter and we’ll see you on the trails in the spring!
